The STINGER LO is from the EMU Australia‘s Platinium Collection, a special collection of genuine sheepskin boots, Made in Australia with Australian wool. In fact, handcrafted in Geelong – Victoria, not very far from where I am – and they’ve been there for 25 years! I look forward to expanding my wool knowledge when I get to see the production of their sheepskin boots and slippers.

My Stinger Lo’s are Chestnut Women’s 6 – they were a smidge snug to start, comfy but snug and being natural after a few wears, the sheepskin has given a little bit to make them incredibly comfortable and a perfect fit as the lining flattens. Be sure to take the time to follow the instructions – just three easy steps to get your perfect fit.
The Stinger Hi has become my go-to while working from home. No ankle or foot problems here, each pair features an anatomically correct sheepskin lined insole AND reinforced heel cup that really provides extra support with the better fit. It’s been a bit funny as I wear uniform working from home for more of a work feel and focus, except my EMU’s!
My previous sheepskin ugg boots were ~15cm (more like the Mini) and these are higher – how have I not gone for a higher length before, higher = more lovely woolly leg warmth! Sheepskin, like wool is perfect for all seasons all year round. It breathes, keeping your feet ready and warm in winter and cool in summer.
