JERSEY (Wool Stationery) by Corban & Blair

Corban and Blair Wool Stationery review

I have a stationery… habit. And a wool collection… issue.

So while I was disappointed when my search for a zipped A5 wool folio (specific, I know – I settled for leather) fell short, adding two pieces to cart from Corban & Blair’s JERSEY range featuring wool felt has gotten me back on track and at under $100 delivered they’d make a very special woolly gift!

The JERSEY stationery collection is three pieces, with a stunning aesthetic appeal that brightens when you learn more about them. Complete with the directive to ‘Bring Manufacturing Home’, they are made in Australia , pairing off genuine leather off cuts and Australian and New Zealand wool felt to ‘create a natural product that minimises waste’ and are ‘created for people who value craftsmanship and quality materials’.

The collection was designed by the Corban & Blair team, a female-owned Australian business based in Lewisham (Sydney, NSW) and made by The Social Outfit – a fashion label employing and training people from refugee and new migrant communities.

Now, I’m very partial to A5 stationery so the A5 Journal was an easy select and did not disappoint. Beautiful clean details. Loved the dotted page notebook it came with. The wool felt has a striking blue-grey mottle to it.

Corban & Blair (A5 JERSEY Journal)

I mulled a while over the A6 notebook. What convinced me of the A6 wrap? The tech-style carry for use for cables and headphones. While many are #workingfromhome, week working week has been varied #workingfromhomeexceptforwoolsaledaysand… so tangled cables has turned into a bit of an issue. The rich cognac genuine leather wrap is expandable with 2 additional sizing holes. And minus the notebook, I may add another hole to reduce the wrap size going forward! Like the A5 Journal, the wool felt has a lovely feel in an earthier colour tone.

The third piece is an equally special A5 journal with a leather outer and internal wool felt compartments. All three pieces are monogrammable!

So if you know sophisticated someone who needs to add a bit of Australian made wool luxe to their office kit or like me love wool in their every day life – please be sure to check out the JERSEY range. Sound like you? Self-gifting totally allowed and highly recommended.
