Every year growers from across the country come to see their wool clip being auctioned in Melbourne. This week was no exception with a group of South Australian’s staying a few extra days – with the wool auction done, there was a interest to see wool in retail around the CBD and closer surrounds.
Though ‘Pay it forward, in wool’ is linked to online purchases, I’ve been living in Melbourne for 7 years now and have a some go-to wool retail spots. Text messaged ‘suggestions’ of where to visit, wool shopping, where to go to buy wool in Melbourne, has evolved into the start of a wool retail guide for Melbourne and surrounds (and who know’s it might grow!) Got suggestions? Leave a comment to add it in.
